Methodology, privacy and transparency

Clear labels are more useful than inflated rankings. This page explains what our badges mean, how listings are reviewed, and where visitors should verify changing terms.

How tools are selected

We include products that perform a meaningful AI-video task: generation, editing, avatars, ads, localization, enhancement, storyboarding, repurposing, or local open-source production. A listing is not an endorsement.

How we verify information

We link to the provider’s official website and review public product or pricing information. “Tested” means we used the product directly. “Official link verified” means the destination and stated core function were checked, but the product was not necessarily tested hands-on.

Free, trial and pricing labels

Free access may include limits, queues, watermarks, regional restrictions, non-commercial terms, or expiring credits. Prices and offers change frequently. Always confirm the current plan and license on the provider’s website before purchasing or publishing commercial work.

Privacy by design

The cost calculator runs in your browser. Project numbers, saved tools and comparison choices stay on your device through local browser storage. VideoToolMap does not require an account for these features.

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links may become affiliate links. If a visitor purchases through one of those links, VideoToolMap may receive a commission at no additional cost to the visitor. Commissions do not determine inclusion, category, access label, or tested status. Affiliate relationships will be identified where applicable.

Corrections and updates

AI-video products change quickly. A label can become outdated after verification. Visitors should rely on the provider’s official checkout and terms for a final decision. Send corrections to contact@videotoolmap.com.
